Their names, hot lips and pink kiss, reminded me of something which is now missing in our lives - close contact, kissing and hugging, and made me a little sad, but that's not their fault. Besides, they are so pretty!

In Japanese, hot lips is "cherry sage" or "autumn red flower scarlet sage," while pink kiss being "flower everyone can't help but stroking," which is a too long but beautiful name, isn't it!

The color pink is named after pink kiss according to Wikipedia. That's very understandable given its beautiful color, PINK!!🥰

近所で発見したチェリーセージとピンクキッスです。チェリーセージは英語で「Hot lips」というらしく、濃厚接触について考えさせられました。キスはもちろんハグもできない。日本人はまだしも海外の方はさぞつらいと思います。

チェリーセージの和名は「秋の紅花サルビア（長い！）」、ピンクキッスは「撫子」。撫子は「撫でたくなるほどかわいらしい」という花の姿に由来するそうです。

ピンク色はピンクキッスの色にちなんで命名されたそうです🥰
