It's still cold in Japan but the lesser trefoil flowers (Trifolium dubium) made me realize that spring was approaching. They're so tiny, the size of a rice grain as suggested by its Japanese name "rice grain clover."

まだまだ寒いですが、米粒詰草（コメツブツメクサ）を見て、春が近づいていることを知りました。名前の通り米粒より少し大きいくらいのちっちゃい花です。
