Japanese Anemone 秋明菊（シュウメイギク）

This is Anemone hupehensis or Japanese anemone. The whiteness of this flower caught my eye.

Originally from China 中国から帰化

Although it's not in the family of chrysanthemum (or doesn't look chrysanthemum at all), the flower is called "autumn bright chrysanthemum" in Japan. Japanese anemone can be pink. This made my purpose of going to the place where I found the white Japanese anemone next time. I will find pink ones!😊

秋明菊（シュウメイギク）です。その白さに目を奪われました。ただ、菊と言ってはいますが、菊ではなくてアネモネの仲間。菊にも全然見えません｡｡｡

シュウメイギクにはピンクもあるようです。次に行くときはピンクの秋明菊がないか探してみます😊
