Crimson Clover ベニバナツメクサ（紅花詰草）

Crimson clovers (Trifolium incarnatum) are native to Europe and West Asia, coming to Japan during the Meiji era (1868-1912) as forage crops. The clovers flower from April to June in Japan but die due to heat in summer.

Japanese Pearlwort (Sagina Japonica) ツメクサ（詰草）

英語の後に日本語が続きます。

These are Japanese pearlwort (Sagina japonica). The flowers are so small (2nd photo) that I didn't notice them at first. Its Japanese name is "Talon plant" after the leaf shape.
