These are Weigela coraeensis. I wrote about another weigela, i.e., Weigela floribunda, last month but I like Weigela coraeensis better because the flower changes its color from white to pale pink, then to reddish purple! Because of such a change, Weigela coraeensis means "fickleness" in the Japanese floriography.

箱根空木です。先月藪空木について書きましたが、ハコネウツギの方が好き！だって花の色が白から淡いピンク、そして濃い紫に変わるんです。花言葉が「移り気」なのも納得です。
