I found these 2cm yellow flowers while walking in the neighborhood. The tag nearby said that they were forsythia or golden bells.

Golden bell! That's a beautiful name for such cute bell-shaped flowers and much better than its Japanese name of "rengyo" or "連翹," which, unlike "golden bell," doesn't give us any information about the flower.

This comparison got me to make the list of English and Japanese names of several other plants below. I prefer the pink ones, which I believe inspire people to actually see the flower more!
