Japanese follows English.

They are the flowers of lespedeza or Japanese bush clovers at Kan'-ei-ji temple in Ueno, Tokyo and in my neighborhood.

Two things surprised me😲. One is that I found the bright pink flowers while walking in my neighborhood. I assumed that Japanese bush clovers grew in only special places, like temples or gardens, and that's why last year I went to Mukojima Hykkaen Garden in Tokyo to see them, which took me over an hour by train to get there. The other is the timing of flowering. Last year I saw the flowers in late September, but it's still the beginning of June. Isn't it too early😆?
