Fuzzy deutzia is native to Japan and can be found across the country. The plant produces white flowers from April to May.

マルバウツギ（丸葉空木）です。ヒメウツギとよく似ていて、実際AIもヒメウツギと判定したのですが、葉が丸く、花が上向きに咲いている（ヒメウツギの花は下向き）ので丸葉空木だと思います。日本原産で4月から5月に真っ白い花を付けます。
