Everyone in Tokyo National Museum looked up, appreciating the beauty of cherry blossoms, while only I looked down because all my attention was on these violet blue flowers. They are orychophragmus violaceus or Chinese violet cress. So pretty!!

The cherry blossom season is almost over, but other spring flowers have started blooming one after another. Chinese violet cress created a beautiful color contrast between the green leaves and violet flowers.

東京国立博物館の大紫羅欄花（オオアラセイトウ）です。皆さん、桜ばかり見上げている中、私だけがしゃがんで薄紫満開のオオアラセイトウをパシャパシャ。緑の葉と薄紫の花弁のコントラストがとってもきれいでした。
