Various types of hydrangeas are now in bloom in Japan and this is one of my favorite hydrangeas because of their color change from pale green to white then to pale blue. But as you see, the flower is not blue and there's a reason for that. Someone cut off the hydrangea I've been observing for the last two weeks before it turns blue!!
There was no reason to cut it off. The tree is in a public place and doesn't block the way. I'm so angry and sad... If you're interested in a pale blue hydrangea, read this post (about the blue hydrangea last year)!

紫陽花にもいろいろありますが、この薄緑から白そして薄青に変わる紫陽花は私のお気に入りの一つです。えっ、どこが青いって？そうなんです。ここ2週間ずっと観察していたこの紫陽花をどっかの誰かが切り落としてしまったんです！
