Japanese wisteria (Wisteria floribunda) is native to Japan but can't be so necessarily found in many places because of difficulty to get them to flower. Maybe for that reason, Japanese wisteria is grown in temples, shrines, famous gardens, and even churches! Some of these photos were taken at Hama-rikyu Gardens and Hie Jinja shrine in Tokyo.
