These are flowering quince (Chaenomeles speciosa). They're beautiful but called in Japanese "bokay or bokey," meaning silly or stupid😂. Although their name is terrible, the flower language includes pioneer and passion. Flowering quince produces white, pink, and red flowers, too.

木瓜の花です。こんなに綺麗なのに名前はちょっとですね。でも「ぼけている」という意味ではないそうです。しかも花言葉は先駆者、熱情。印象が全然違います。赤は見たことあったのですが、オレンジは初めてでした。
