Sachiko and her husband bought a condo 15 years ago. They made research on only new houses and got a new one because in Japan, new houses are more valued than older ones.

Sachiko’s husband had been divorced for three years when they got married. This was the first marriage for Sachiko.
Second house
Sachiko has been looking for a second house in Kyoto, but is wondering which is better, a new or used condo or a used detached house? She was interested in only a new condo in the beginning, but is now looking for a used, but good and old traditional Japanese house along the Kamogawa River.
Human
She likes to work and has motivation to contribute to not only the company but also society. The thing is that those around her seem to think that getting old means becoming worthless and that they never get older.
Sachiko is increasingly surrounded by old or used things, but finds it fun and amusing these days.

幸子さんのお父さんは、新刊ではなく、古い本を読むように言っていたそうだ。そのせいか、幸子さんは新刊より、古いミステリーの方が好きだ。
家
幸子さんが旦那さんとマンションを買ったのは15年前だ。日本では、中古より新築の方が価値が高いとされるので、新築マンションを買ったとのこと。
配偶者
幸子さんの旦那さんはバツイチだ。前の奥さんとは離婚し、その3年後に幸子さんと結婚した。幸子さんは初婚だ。
セカンドハウス
幸子さんは京都にセカンドハウスを探しているが、新築（または）中古のマンションと中古の一軒家ではどちらがいいか悩んでいるらしい。最初はマンションばかり見ていたが、最近は鴨川沿いの古い日本家屋を探している。
人
幸子さんは働くことが好きで、会社にも社会にもまだまだ貢献したい気持ちでいっぱいだ。ただ、彼女の周りの人は、年を取ることは「用無し」になることで、自分は年を取らないと思っているらしい、
幸子さんの周囲には古い物や人が増えているが、彼女自身はそれを楽しむ今日のこの頃である。
