Japanese Camellia (Camellia Japonica) 椿（ツバキ）

These are fruits of Japanese camellia (Camellia japonica). The heatwave is still going across Japan, but autumn is definitely approaching. The harvest season of Japanese camellia fruits will start in September.

椿の実です。まだまだ酷暑ですが秋は確実に来てるんですね。椿の実の収穫時期は9月からだそうです。
