These are the blue (1st photo) and purple (2nd photo) flowers of Commelina communis, commonly known as the Asiatic dayflower. I'd seen its blue flowers, but not purple ones, so at home I was surprised to find that Asiatic dayflower produces flowers in not only blue and purple but white and pink, which I've been looking for since then!

露草（ツユクサ）です。ツユクサって青いと思っていたので紫を発見して喜んでいたのですが、何と白もピンクもあるんですね。白とピンクを探してま～す！
