Fruits of East Asian Mallotus (Mallotus Japonicus) アカメガシワ（赤芽柏）の実

英語の後に日本語が続きます。

I found these clusters of fruits or flowers on a tree in Central Tokyo. I searched for the name of the plant at home but in vain.

On the day following the date of posting this, I got two answers, both of which suggest the tree is East Asian mallotus (Mallotus japonicus). Thanks very much @zaungruen!!

日本橋辺りで見つけました。実なのか花なのか分かりません。家でググったのですが名前も分かりませんでした。
