Briza Maxima (Big Quaking Grass)

Japanese follows English.

They're spikelets of Briza maxima or big quaking grass. When seeing them for the first time I thought they were some bugs but since I knew they were not, I've looked for these cute spikelets every spring. The plant is called "Old Japanese gold coin plant🪙" in Japanese and as the name suggests, old gold coins in Japan were oval, shaped like the spikelets in the first photo.
