They're Ajuga reptans, i.e., Ajuga native to Europe. They're so hardy that you can see them in many places even on sidewalks in Central Tokyo. You can find another Ajuga in Tokyo, too, i.e., Ajuga decumbens, which are native to Japan. Clearly, these two are different. European Ajuga are much taller than Japanese ones!! And that's why Japanese Ajuga are used as a groundcover while European ones are not (or cannot). The flowers resemble each other very much though.
Both flowers are tiny and beautiful, but they always make me smile with a funny shape, which looks like to me a person floating with open arms!

セイヨウキランソウ（西洋金瘡小草）です。名前の通り欧州原産でとっても丈夫。あちこちで咲いてます。一方、アジュガには、日本原産のキランソウ（金瘡小草）もあります。日本原産の方は地べたを這うように繁殖し、西洋キランソウは上に上に伸びます。でも花はそっくりで形がとてもユニークです。皆さんには何に見えますか？私には手を広げて浮かんでいる人に見えます。
