Skullcaps usually produce
purple flowers but they also have white ones (Scutellaria indica var. parvifolia f. alba). Their profile (i.e., appearance from the side) brings me happiness while reminding someone on the internet of "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai (1760–1849), which I agree with.

This is the only place where purple and white skullcaps grow side by side in my neighborhood. It looks to me like a small but beautiful kingdom for them.

コバノタツナミ（小葉の立浪）は普通、
紫の花を付けるのですが、これはシロバナコバノタツナミ（白花小葉の立浪）です。ネットで誰かが白花小葉の立浪は北斎の波頭みたいだと言っておられましたがその通りですね。近所で小葉の立浪と白花小葉の立浪が咲いているのはここだけ。「小葉の立浪王国」を見るたびに嬉しくなってしまいます。
