英語の後に日本語が続きます。
These are banana shrubs (Magnolia figo). As the name suggests, they're Magnolia, like
yulan magnolia,
mulan magnolia, and
southern magnolia, but you wouldn't tell just by looking at them. I smelled the flowers to see if they really smell like bananas but because of loss of my sense of smell (?), I smelled nothing.
