White Morning Glory is a Mutant! 白いアサガオはミュータント！

I saw this white morning glory in my neighborhood.

Can you see a bee in the center? 蜂、見えますか？

The bee buzzing around the flower 花の周りをホバリング

Leaving for another flower? 次の花へ移動中？

I have seen purple, pink and blue morning glories, but not a white one. So, I googled and found that white morning glory is a result of a mutation, i.e., deficiency of a certain gene.

The whiteness of white morning glory makes it look nobler than other morning glories, doesn't it? White morning glory represents "strong bond" while the purple one means "calmness" and the blue one "ephemeral love."

白いアサガオ。珍しいなと思ってググったら、遺伝子の欠損による突然変異の結果だそうです。でもこの白のおかげで高貴に見えませんか。

アサガオは色によって花言葉が違うようです。紫は「冷静」、青は「はかない恋」、そして白は「固い絆」だそうです。
