In bloom in a greenhouse 温室で咲いてました

Sterculia brevissima is native to the Yunnan province of China and called "短柄苹婆" in Chinese. The plant is so unusual that it has no Japanese name with little information, but this five star-shaped white and pink flower is too pretty and cawaii to ignore!😉

小石川植物園の温室で見たステルキュリア・ブレビッシマです。中国雲南省原産で珍しい花らしく英語でも日本語でもほとんど情報がありませんでした。でも可愛いので載せてしまいました😉
