One of my favorite ideas is that "medicine and food have the same origin." This is a Chinese concept that a good balanced diet keeps you healthy. Food may not "fix" your body as medicine does, but it definitely boosts your immune system and your skin and hair. So, I stewed dates in red wine and honey.

It takes time but is easy to make.
1. Soak about a dozen dates in water until they are soft. (This takes some time, three hours in my case.)
2. Put these dates, water and red wine (200cc each), and 4 spoonfuls of honey in a small pot and boil down until the dates are very soft.
I have worked from home since February. Stews are my current favorite dishes these days😋

棗の赤ワイン煮です。昔から医食同源、薬膳料理に興味がありました。棗がとてもいいということで今回チャレンジしました。作り方は簡単!
水で乾燥棗を戻して(結構時間かかります)、ワインと水(各200cc)と蜂蜜スプーン3~4杯をお鍋に入れて煮るだけ。時間はかかりますがその甲斐あってとってもおいしく出来上がりました。ホットワインとしても使えそうです😋
