Netsuke - Halloween 根付 - ハロウィン

I am so busy that I completely forgot about the photo of this seasonal netsuke, "Halloween" by Toun Shishido.

Japan has recently seen many people especially younger people going in Halloween not house-to-house but to Shibuya, a downtown area popular with younger people, in costume, but this year they have reduced by almost 80%... This is good news to reduce Covid-19 infections while being bad, too. The virus has deprived people of an opportunity to have fun...

東京国立博物館で見た根付「ハロウィン」です。宍戸濤雲作。マカデミアナッツと琥珀からできています。２週間ほど前に撮ったのに忙しくてすっかり忘れてました😅 今年はハロウィーンで渋谷に行く人が減ったそうですね。コロナのせいで楽しみ奪われてしまった方、博物館いかがでしょう？😁
