They look like narcissus tazetta (bunch-flowered narcissus) or narcissus papyraceus (paperwhite), but the colors of the petals (creamy white) and corolla (pale yellow) are slightly different from those of these narcissuses. I believe this is narcissus tazetta 'Grand Monarque.'

Grand Monarque is the fifth type of narcissus I've seen this year after the following four types:
Grand Monarque and the above four narcissuses must have flowered last year, though I didn't notice that at all. I hate COVID-19, but if I had to say something good about the virus, it would be that it has opened my eyes to see what I didn't see.
The hardiness of Grand Monarque surprised me because these narcissuses, which have grown alongside construction fences, are the first flowers growing by the fences since weeds around them were all removed several months ago. These creamy white narcissuses look very gentle and graceful but don't be fooled by their appearance. They are pretty and as strong as, or may be stronger than, weeds are!!

「グランドモナーク」という水仙のようです。房咲き水仙と白花水仙（ペーパーホワイト）に似ていますが、花弁（クリーム色）と副花冠（薄黄）の色が違うので調べました。今年見た5番目の水仙です。（1番目から4番目は以下の通り。）
- 房咲き水仙
- 喇叭水仙
- 黄房水仙
グランドモナークも上の4つも去年咲いていたはずなのですが全然気づきませんでした。コロナでいいことをどうしても言わなければならないなら「今まで見えなかったものが見えるようになったこと」でしょうか。
グランドモナークでもう一つ好きなのは「たくましさ」です。建設現場のフェンス沿いに咲いているのですが、ここは数カ月前に雑草が根こそぎ除去された場所。そこで初めて咲いた花がグランドモナーク。人だけじゃなく、花も見かけではありません｡｡｡
