Galanthus Nivalis (Snowdrop) 待雪草（スノードロップ）

The shape and the contrast between green and white stood out and cawaii😊!! They are galanthus nivalis or commonly snowdrops.

Cawaii!! カワイイです！

Snowdrop is "matsu yuki sou" in Japanese, meaning "a plant awaiting snow." Japanese people would be awaiting spring apricot and cherry blossoms at this time of usual year, but now they are awaiting the end of the pandemic, which doesn't seem to come soon, though. Even the beginning of the end seems far away....😞 

So until then, I will keep walking in the neighborhood to find flowers, trying new recipes and throwing things away.....

例年であれば梅や桜の開花を待つ時期ですが、今世界中が待ち望んでいるのは「コロナの終わり」、あるいは少なくとも「終わりの始まり」。でもそれも遠い先に思えてしまいます😞

ということで当分は、近所を散歩して、新しい料理にチャレンジして、いらないものを捨てるか！
