I've already written about crepe myrtle three times this year.
And again, now, I'm writing about it because I've seen its various pink and red flowers!!

Crepe myrtle has two Japanese names, "monkeys slip (saru suberi)" because of its slippery bark, on which even monkeys slip, and "red for 100 days (hyaku jitsu ko)" as crepe myrtle flowers bloom for a long period of time. When I first wrote about this, however, I didn't know how long I can enjoy the flowers in what colors.
Four months have passed since then and things have changed, including the breakout of Covid-19, and through that period, I've been enjoying the cute ball-shaped berries in diameter of 1 cm and flowers in such beautiful colors ranging from white to pale, purple and bright pink and even red!!(If you wish to post your comment but don't have a Google account, select "anonymous" from the drop down menu titled "comment as"!)
３月からずっと百日紅を堪能しています。実はかわいく、花はきれい。先日赤い花を見つけたのでまた書いている次第です🙇
