Catnips Are Policing, Too!

Japanese follows English.

Am I paranoid? Am I being watched again by these tiny purple flowers?

Catnip

Is he/she smiling?

I stopped because of their color. The purple was so beautiful, but then I started to feel being watched by many smiling or smirking faces again as I was stared at by the policing violas a few weeks ago...

They are catnip or catmint. According to Wikipedia, catnip or catmint includes the term "cat" because it contains the substance that triggers the state of feline ecstasy, called nepetalactone.

Catnip or catmint is called "dog mint" in Japanese. "Dog" sometimes means "useless" in Japanese, like "dog death or 犬死に," meaning "death for nothing." This flower was named "dog mint" because it's mint but useless.....🤣 So unfair to dogs!!
