This is another tiny and cawaii plant, i.e., geranium carolinianum or commonly Carolina cranesbill.
Geranium carolinianum 亜米利加風露 |
The fruits are like beaks 実の形が嘴みたい |
The long beak-like structure of the fruit, which gives the plant its nickname of "Cranesbill," as well as the color of the flowers and leaves, was so unforgettable that I went where I'd seen them several days after taking these photos, but they were gone or more specifically had been removed. That's understandable given that Carolina cranesbill is very invasive, but it's still sad to see such lovely flowers gone😞
This happens to other weeds like speedwells and oxalises, but as you know they will grow again and again😆 And the coexistence of such hardiness and prettiness always fascinates me!
