Cerasus Subhirtella (Miq.) - Beginning of End of Winter Cherry Blossoms.... 冬桜の終焉

Finally, finally, the end of cerasus subhirtella (miq.) or winter cherry is coming. I've been monitoring these cherry trees since last October.

They are dying...😢 枯れ始めている｡｡｡😢

I first found the cherry flowers last October and googled, finding that some cherry trees bloom in winter. I've been enjoying the blossoms since then, especially for the period during which I found almost no flowers. I also hoped they would keep blooming throughout the year, but sadly and understandably this seems unlikely. The flowers have started to turn brown while many green leaves growing. I'm happy because they can rest for a while so that they will bloom soon again!   

So, my next question is when I will be able to see the cherry trees start to bloom again! My bet is on the end of summer, like September. We'll see... 😊

ついに冬桜の終焉です。去年の10月から観察してきた桜の花がとうとう枯れ始めました。半年間、楽しませてくれた桜に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。

次に咲き始めるのはいつなんでしょう？目が離せません😊
